Challenge

Building SikaFlow required transforming a simple sales tracking idea into a full multi-tenant business system. The biggest challenge was ensuring secure data separation between users (so each business only sees its own data), while also maintaining real-time updates across dashboards, inventory, and sales without page refreshes. Additionally, handling role-based access, flexible pricing during sales, and consistent performance across web and mobile environments added complexity.

Approach

We designed a tenant-aware architecture where every action (sales, expenses, inventory) is automatically tied to the user’s business, ensuring data security. A centralized state system with dynamic updates was implemented to keep dashboards, reports, and inventory in sync instantly. We also built a flexible permission system for Admin, Manager, and Staff roles, and optimized the UI for both desktop and mobile (including app-like behavior). This resulted in a scalable, responsive platform that delivers a seamless business management experience.
